Hello!
My name is María Laura Smoglie and I am a graphic designer
specialized in branding.

I develop projects to create brand identity, including its strategy, design and application for entrepreneurs and/or any kind of companies that hire me to gain a good positioning in markets of interest. I graduated in graphic design from the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires, where I also had the opportunity to work as a teacher in the courses Graphic Design II and III for five years. Working as a teacher has helped me develop the ability to listen and to understand that every work project is also a mutual learning process.

As regards my professional career, my first job was at an advertising agency focused on health and medicine, where I worked for eleven years. At that agency, I started carrying out different tasks regarding visual identity design and then I was promoted to campaign coordinator. Thanks to this background and my collaboration with other agencies, I have acquired the necessary experience to put together my own work team. Not only has this posed a challenge, but it has also opened up new horizons.

I really love doing my job, and I am aware that this is a privilege that only those who have found our calling can enjoy. Therefore, for each project, I prefer to get together specific teams made up of people who share the same spirit, in order to build group dynamics that solve problems as well as improve team performance.

INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH

I am confident that work has to be tackled in an interdisciplinary way, taking into account all areas of expertise. At present, identity is seen as a construction which is getting more dynamic every day, and as a result, this requires the permanent combination of creative and analytical thinking.
